Flera Birmane has graduated from Latvia Academy of Arts Painting department obtaining the Master’s degree in 2009. She has been interested in photo realism in this manner painting her portraits. Through Buddhism philosophy and practices she got greatly interested in Eastern sacral thanka painting. It is the second year she has been studying  the mentioned realm of arts in Nepal, Tsering Art school. At school some students are monks therefore the monastic culture has encouraged her to paint portraits of young monks.
