My inspiration comes from everday experiences. Whether I am struggling in the harsh mountain dwellings or going through complex cities, the constant feelings of social and political textures are my source of creativity. Inevitable influences are always there wherever I go but my identity as a Himalayan is always in me. Most my works represent such reflections.
In this exhibition, my works are based on popular religious images and symbols. This is still “work in progress”, as these are part of my ongoing Dhyana (Meditation) series.
